30 years ago, consumer products may have been less accessible, with higher acquisition costs than today, but they were far more durable than today. The updated statistic informs us that 18% of consumers who purchased an insurance plan used it in the 5th and final year of the plan. Yes, you read that right, 1 in 5 televisions will break during their 5th year of existence, a sad reality that demonstrates the extent of our modern consumerism.

The good news, contrary to popular belief, is that televisions can still be repaired today, as can all other electronic and computer equipment. Another piece of good news is that we're one of the last repair shops still in operation in the Beauce. Our technicians are available on site to repair your equipment.

First of all, most repairs to electronic and computer equipment are carried out right here in the workshop. There are a few exceptions, but most repairs involve equipment that cannot be transported.

When a customer brings in a device for repair, he or she will be asked to pay an estimate fee beforehand, in order to carry out a diagnosis of the device, which will then be deducted from the cost of the repair. This fee can vary from $50 to $80, depending on the appliance to be repaired. Once the diagnosis is complete, we contact you to confirm the value of the complete repair. You will then be asked whether you accept or decline the repair. Once the repair is complete, you'll be invited to pick up your unit.

Remote assistance service

Whether by telephone or online, we also offer remote assistance. Given the vastness of the Beauce region, and the fact that we serve Les Etchemins and the Lac-Mégantic area, we prefer to provide remote assistance whenever possible. This service is much appreciated by our customers, who often avoid having to travel dozens of kilometers to be served.

First of all, it's important to contact us to validate your needs and feasibility. Unfortunately, some requests can't be made remotely, and a trip to the site becomes necessary. Once feasibility has been confirmed, an appointment must be made to set up a time slot that meets everyone's needs. A deposit will be requested in advance, and we will ask for the final payment at the end of the intervention. We use secure software based on the highest industry standards to protect you against hackers or potential security breaches.
